Sixth formers celebrate successful year
Posted: 29th July 2019A celebration of a successful year enabled sixth formers to mingle.
Students from Year 12 and 13 from Epping St John’s Church of England School sixth form came together for the end of year prom.
Instead of acting as a farewell to those leaving this summer, the evening brought together the two year groups to celebrate everyone’s achievements.
Students donned their sparkly outfits for the party at Mulberry House, in Ongar. They enjoyed welcome drinks, a BBQ, photo booth and a party with a DJ at the venue which had been decorated in black, silver and white.
Viv Madden, careers lead, said: “What was lovely on the evening was seeing the two year groups dancing together; they all get on so well.
“It’s the first time we’ve had a sixth form prom and it shows how things are evolving and growing.
“It was a really lovely evening to celebrate the end of the year.”
Applications for September 2019 are still being accepted. Find out more on the Sixth Form pages.
