Non Uniform Day for Charity Tuesday 17th December 2019. Click here for more details
Dear Parents/Carers,
Non Uniform Day 17th December 2019
Our head of PE and head of year 10 are both running the London Marathon this forthcoming April and are aiming to raise £4000 for charity. As a school, we would like to help support them in their efforts so are holding a non-uniform day on the last day of term. The non-uniform day will be for all year groups, on Tuesday 17th December. Students will be asked to contribute £1 towards the charity we are supporting, ‘CARE’, in exchange for permission to not have to wear their school uniform for the day.
The £1 charitable contribution will be available to pay on ParentPay for all students. Any that cannot pay online will be asked to pay the £1 to their form tutor in cash in advance of the day.
Students will not be required to wear their Epping St. John’s uniform; however, we will not accept students wearing too much jewellery, ripped jeans, short skirts, cropped tops, high heels, excessive make-up or dyed hair. The Senior Leadership team reserve the right to send students home to change if their clothing is deemed inappropriate.
There will also be a cake and doughnut sale on the day, along with some sports-based activities, like beat the goalie and a keepy-up competition. Please allow your child to bring in some extra money to take part if they wish to.
Thank you for your support and continuing generosity,
Yours faithfully
T. McGarr
