Camp Cambodia
Posted: 15th November 2018Teenagers are looking forward to making a difference to lives in Cambodia.
A group of nine Year 11 students at Epping St John’s School have signed up to spend 28 days in Cambodia next summer.
Between now and then, they each must raise £3,500 towards the Camps International trip.
During the trip, they will build shelters, help to get clean running water to villages, teach English and help in the community.
Georgia Davis said: “I have always wanted to do this. We are going to make a real difference.
“We are imagining how good we will feel about ourselves coming back on that plane.”
The students are organising a raffle, with prizes including a signed Tottenham Hotspur shirt, plus a Christmas quiz and non-uniform days to boost their coffers.
