ESJ Students Receive Their A-Level Results
Posted: 18th August 2022Epping St John's Sixth Form, which was described this year by Ofsted as "impressive", today celebrated being in the top 25 per cent of facilities in the country.
As Year 13 students collected their A-level results, leaders were celebrating a year of achievement.
Today’s results are the best in the sixth form’s history and come just four months after Ofsted inspectors graded every area of the school – including sixth form provision – as Good.
It is the first time the school has received the grading, having previously been classified as Requires Improvement in 2015.

Deputy headteacher Flora Christofi said: “We are absolutely delighted with these results.
“Our students have shown determination and resilience during such unprecedented times and really deserve these grades.
“Both our staff and students have worked tirelessly and this reflects the excellent teaching and support our students receive at Epping St John’s Sixth Form.
“Our data shows that we are now in the top 25 per cent of sixth forms in the country - a significant improvement on 2019 data - and we are immensely proud of an exceptional set of results…Epping St John’s best ever!
“Ofsted were quoted as saying we have ‘an impressive and growing sixth form’ and our results this year only confirm that.”
