Every sixth former completing the first year of their further maths course at Epping St John’s Church of England School achieved top grades.

Year 12 and 13 students collected A-level results today after the summer’s exams.

Of the students in Year 12 studying further maths at A-level, 100 per cent achieved A* to B grades for the first year of the two-year course.

Top achieving Year 13 students this year include –

  • Kyle Robertson who achieved  A* AAA and is off to Loughborough University to study business marketing
  • Erin Cooney who achieved A*AA securing a place at Loughborough University studying psychology
  • Macey Prosser who achieved A*A*A and will head to Nottingham University to study childhood studies

This year’s results are enabling students to progress to a range of universities and career paths, including zoology, radiography, marine biology and cyber security.

Headteacher Michael Yerosimou and deputy headteacher Flora Christofi, head of sixth form, said: “We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements in this year’s A-level and Vocational examinations.

“These results reflect not only their academic abilities, but also their hard work over the last two years.

“Epping St John’s Sixth Form remains committed to providing a nurturing, academic and inclusive environment that prepares students for their future.

“We wish all our students the very best as they embark on the next chapter of their academic and professional journey.”
